July 23, 2018 : 3rd Annual SONA

     State Of the Nation Address (SONA), is an annual address by the  President of the Philippines to a joint session of the Congress of the Philippines. Last July 23, 2018, PRESIDENT RODRIGO R. DUTERTE recently delivered his 3rd annual State Of the Nation Address. He talked about his plans for this year and accomplishments from last year. 

     President Duterte first mentioned his campaign to fight drugs which is the "War on Drugs". He slams the human rights group for criticizing his campaign. He also mentioned the corruption in the Government, and said that even if they were his friends or ally, he will not hesitate to fire them in their position. He promised to sign the Bangsamoro Organic Law within 48 hours after receiving the Congress' approved version by the Malacanang. He said that the Government will welcome the terrorist who wants to surrender and recognized the police and soldiers that died fighting during the Marawi Siege. He disapproves the deaths and abuses suffered by our Overseas Filipino Worker in the hands of foreign employers. Duterte promised to restore the Boracay Beach and said that the environment is a top priority. Lastly he said that he wants to change the type of government from Democracy to Federalism.

     For me, I think that the President is not that bad person, he just want to save and protect us from harm. In my life, he is the only one that I trust to manage the Philippines. He didn't care about other's opinions and comments and do things he knows right. In my opinion, he is the best President that had been elected by the Filipinos.

    Very well said. We should help our President in thinking useful plans and providing effective solutions to all existing problems in our society in order to make our nation a peaceful and progressive place to live and stay.

     Christmas.....the season of hope, peace, unity, joy, and love to all. The birth of our savior Jesus Christ who sacrifice his life to save all mankind. Indeed, it is the day of forgiving and forgetting bitterness of life instead let us spread love and positivity to all. Knowledge will Continue to Grow

                      The first quarter of ICT10 taught me many lessons. We learned about the history of the internet, what is a blog, different search engines for blogs, and also making my own blogger account. I've learned that the internet has evoled a lot since 1957. As of now, the internet is used for communication, research, and even for business. There are also many people who contributed to the development of the internet like Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn.
